Huge VicSearch Week
The latest release of the VicSearch is online ready for use. The records are now distributed from a single database that services several web sites. At the moment the records are being updated to link users registered at UGLii Find with their VicSearch entries.
The new database rationalises the information distributed over the entire network minimising maintenance requirements and increasing the number of records. Each web site uses the records from categories related to the sites purpose.
A new management system will create link directories automatically that can be saved for inclusion on visitors web sites. Using the national register it will be very easy to create a list of businesses for any region of South West Victoria. Hopefully the entire system will be fully operational late in November and I can start sleeping again.
